Über den Studiengang
Our goal
It is to become the best internationally recognized center of energy engineering (internal combustion engines) in the Central Asian region for personnel training and scientific research focused on this field.
Our mission
To contribute to providing society with competent personnel through the creation and implementation of innovative technologies for the sustainable development of the state and the development of innovative education based on scientific research at the national and international level.
About the department
The "Internal Combustion Engines" department was established in 1990 within the "Mechanics-Mechanical Engineering" faculty of ToshDTU. The first group of engineering specialists was trained in 1989 in the specialty "Internal combustion engines". At that time, this department was the only one in Central Asia, and now it is the only one in the Republic. Ph.D. for the position of head of department. associate professor Bekmurod Tulayev was appointed, K.I. Afanasyev, L. Sharipov, B. Mukhamedjanov and S. Ismailov worked as professors.
The team of the department, under the leadership of associate professor B.R. Tulayev, together with pedagogical activities, carried out scientific research work on improving the construction and working processes of "Internal combustion engines".
From April 1994 to October 1995, Ph.D., prof. Sh.V.Saidov was the leader. During this period, the scientific potential of the department's team was involved in the creation of a connecting rodless internal combustion engine, which was considered to have low internal mechanical losses. This scientific topic remained one of the main scientific directions of the department until 2001.
From October 1995, associate professor B. Tulayev was again appointed to head the team of the department. Attention to the teaching process has been strengthened, the application of new informational and pedagogical technologies to the teaching process has significantly improved the level of students' mastery, and increased their interest in scientific and research work. Talented young teachers and scientific staff have been recruited into the department, research activities in new priority directions have been accelerated in the department. As a result of these works, bachelors in the new field of study "Power engineering" and masters in the specialty "Heat engines" have been prepared.
Associate Professor B. Tulayev headed the "Internal Combustion Engines" department until 2007. During these years, the department was named "Energomachinery" (2005-2007).
In 2007, the departments "Energomachinery" and "Engineering pedagogy in the fields of mechanical engineering" were merged, and the department was named "Vocational education and powermachinery".
In 2007-2009, Associate Professor B. Tulayev headed the "Vocational Education and Power Engineering" department. In 2008, the name of the department changed again and is still called "Energy Engineering and Vocational Education".
In 2009-2011, the department was headed by O.O. Daminov.
From 2012 to 2013, Ph.D. associate professor F.M. Matmuradov served as the head of the department.
From 2013 to 2018, Ph.D. B.T. Torayev held the position of head of the department.
From October 15, 2018 until now, PhD, associate professor J.O. Khakimov has been working as the head of the department.
