Literary studies (by languages and research studies)

Direction: literary studies, literary theory, history of Uzbek literary criticism, comparative study of Uzbek and world literature issues, effective teaching of modern literary process problems at educational stages, philologist-pedagogue at the level of world standards, training of personnel, works on this basis to improve scientific-theoretical literary studies. Also, the department of world literature and comparative literature studies the sources, historical periods, stages, literary methods, trends, types and genres of the literature of the world nations, leading literary figures, their highly literary works, artistic features, and creative methodological skills for master's level students. It aims to convey universal literary-theoretical thinking, literary criticism, history of artistic thought, practice, criteria of universal literary studies, and to study the integral relationship of literary studies with other humanitarian, natural and concrete sciences. In addition, the main activity is to deeply research the Uzbek classical literature, to instill the essence of the history of our literature and the literary and spiritual heritage left by our ancestors into the minds of young students, to teach the laws of classical poetics, to conduct large-scale research on the development of literary studies and navoi studies and the task of collecting them. The goal of the course is to educate independent and modern-thinking young people, armed with national and spiritual values, advanced ideas put forward by our writers, with extensive professional skills, and to direct talented students to scientific activities.
