Being a core part of the Graduate School, the MSc in Research Methods for Social Sciences course is a strategic course of WIUT. The course is based on a unique combination of learning and practice across three dimensions important for research: training in hard research skills, soft and transferable skills, and applied research practices, through developing individual dissertation work and a team-based community project that will provide research-based solutions to real-life problems. Comprehensive course design will enable you to master quantitative, qualitative, and mixed research methods, respective primary data collection, and analysis using advanced software. Students will go beyond the steps of producing high-quality research and also cover the publication cycle. The course will also help you to pave your way toward a successful application to a local or international PhD, prepare for professional work in the industry, and acquire advanced research analytical skills.
