At the meeting of the Scientific Council No. DSc.30/30.12.2019.Fil.14.01 under the Uzbekistan University of Journalism and Mass Communications held on June 24, 2025:

• The defense of the dissertation by Shohrux Begaliyevich Qosimov for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology in the specialty 10.00.09 - Journalism on the topic “The role and place of mass media in highlighting the issues of Uzbek national revival literature (based on the scientific and literary works of Professor Begali Qosimov)”;
• The defense of the dissertation by Kanat Alimjanovich Abdikarimov for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Philology in the specialty 10.00.09 - Journalism on the topic “Media literacy as a tool to combat disinformation” was successfully completed.
