UrSU Professor Umida Baltayeva appointed member of International Mathematical Union committee
Professor Umida Baltayeva of Urgench State University was elected to the Committee for Developing Countries of the International Mathematical Union (IMU) during its General Assembly in New York.
Umida Baltayeva, Professor at Urgench State University and Chief Researcher at the Khwarazm Mamun Academy, has been elected as a member of the Committee for Developing Countries of the International Mathematical Union (IMU). This landmark decision was announced at the IMU General Assembly meeting held in New York, USA. Her election serves as high international recognition of Uzbekistan's mathematical school and UrSU's scientific expertise. The university community warmly congratulated Professor Baltayeva on this prestigious accomplishment.
