The 60110900 “Foreign Language and Literature” undergraduate program is offered in both full-time and evening modes, with a four-year duration for the full-time track, and aims to train educators equipped with modern knowledge, skills, and competencies in the field of foreign languages ​​and literature; graduates may work as foreign language and literature teachers in general secondary schools, educators in extracurricular institutions, or as resource room managers and tutors in educational institutions, as well as serve as consultants, managers, guide-interpreters, journalists, or publicists in government bodies, non-governmental organizations, and educational-cultural service centers; the curriculum includes subjects such as reading and writing practice, integration of speaking skills, practice of language aspects, a second foreign language, foreign language teaching methodology, translation theory and practice, history of foreign literature, inclusive education, and media literacy, while theoretical knowledge is reinforced through professional internships (introductory, pedagogical, and pre-graduation), ultimately awarding graduates the qualification of “Foreign Language and Literature Teacher” in the respective foreign language.
