About the Program

The "General Medicine" program trains general practitioners (physicians) equipped with fundamental medical knowledge and advanced clinical skills. The curriculum covers an in-depth study of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and a wide range of clinical disciplines (internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, etc.). Special attention is given to practical training: from the early years, students master medical procedures in the university's high-tech simulation centers, while senior years are fully dedicated to clinical practice in leading public hospitals and private multidisciplinary medical centers.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates are in maximum demand within the healthcare system. After completing the basic course, they can work as general practitioners (GPs) in polyclinics, emergency room doctors, or physicians. Completing subsequent residency programs opens the path to a career as a highly specialized doctor: surgeon, cardiologist, neurologist, endocrinologist, etc. Graduates can also pursue research activities in the medical field.

Language of Instruction

After admission, students can choose their preferred language of instruction: English, Russian, or Uzbek.

International Opportunities

The program is closely integrated into the international medical community. Students have the opportunity to participate in student mobility programs at partner medical universities abroad. To study global treatment protocols, clinical internships are organized at advanced foreign hospitals and research institutes.

Admission Requirements

Entrance exams are conducted as standardized tests in core medical subjects (Biology and Chemistry) or in the form of an interview.
