The Permanent Representative of Spain to UNESCO, Mr. Miquel Octavi, and his Educational Advisor, Alfredo Sancho Guardia, visited SamDCHTI. The guests were met by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, J.Nasrullaev. At the meeting, issues of further expanding scientific, cultural, and educational ties with higher educational institutions of Spain, expanding opportunities for in-depth study of the Spanish language, literature, and culture were discussed. It is planned to develop joint scientific projects for the in-depth study of historical ties between the parties, in particular, the study of the heritage associated with the era of Amir Temur, as well as the study of the inscriptions left by Ruy González de Clavijo. Following the meeting, agreements were reached on student and faculty exchanges, joint seminars and conferences, and the launch of advanced training programs for Spanish language teachers.
