5061001 – B.Tech IT (Information Technology Engineering) undergraduate program is a field within science and technology that encompasses studying methods for designing production systems, understanding the operation principles and rules of computer and communication technologies, analyzing design processes, applying methods for synthesis and optimization, developing mathematical models of physical processes occurring in computer and communication technologies, creating algorithms and practical applications to evaluate the efficiency and reliability of computer systems, and designing, developing, and integrating hardware-software systems.

The professional activities in the above-mentioned fields cover areas such as information and communication technology processes in production sectors, software for information-communication systems, their mathematical, informational, and algorithmic-software support, automated design systems for production, information processing in industrial production, software for microprocessor-based systems, implementation and effective use of software products and hardware, design, configuration, production, and application of technical and software tools for information-management systems and technologies.
