About the Program

The "Special Pedagogy" program (including defectology and speech therapy) trains highly qualified specialists to work with children and adults with special educational needs. The curriculum covers correctional pedagogy, special psychology, speech therapy, and modern methods of inclusive education. The educational process includes active practical training, allowing students to reinforce their theoretical knowledge directly in the working environment by practicing in specialized schools, rehabilitation centers, and inclusive educational institutions.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates hold high social significance and are in great demand in the education and healthcare sectors. Available roles include speech therapist, defectologist, special education teacher, deaf educator, inclusive education tutor in public and private schools, as well as specialist in medical and rehabilitation centers.

Language of Instruction

After admission, students can choose their preferred language of instruction: English, Russian, or Uzbek.

International Opportunities

The program encourages the study of global best practices in inclusion. Students can participate in semester-long student mobility programs at partner universities abroad, as well as complete internships at international centers for correctional pedagogy and inclusive education.

Admission Requirements

Entrance exams are conducted as standardized tests in core subjects (Biology and Native Language) or in the form of an interview.
