Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulug'bek

Proposals made by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to Jizzakh region on January 30-31, 2019 and in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 563 of July 5, 2019 and the Resolution of the Governor of the region No.261 of July 10, 2019, the Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek was established. The faculty of "Psychology" has been operating in the branch since the 2020/2021 academic year.

Nowadays, the Faculty of Psychology has four departments:

1. Department of "Social Sciences". Chair holder. Nosirov Bunyod Urolovich.

2. Department of Psychology. Chair holder. Alibekov Davron Abdurakibovich

3.Department of "Foreign Languages". Chair holder. Jorayev    Muhammadrahimkhon.

4. Department of Uzbek Language and Literature. Chair holder. Kochkarov Tukhtamurod Olimovich.

The faculty prepares bachelors in 3 full-time programs.

1. 5120100 - Philology and language teaching (English).

2. 5210205 - Department of Family Psychology.

3. 5210204 - Department of Youth Psychology.

Development of bachelors in 2 correspondence courses at the faculty.

1. 5210200 - Psychology (by activity and type).

2. 5520103 - Social work (citizens' self-government bodies)

Based on the proposals made by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during his visit to the Jizzakh region on January 30-31, 2019 and the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 563 of July 5, 2019 and the decision of the regional governor No. 261 of July 10, 2019, the Jizzakh branch of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirza Ulugbek was established. Initially, the Faculty of “Applied Mathematics” started its activity within the Branch.

Currently, the “Applied Mathematics” Faculty has 4 departments:

1. The department of “Applied Mathematics”, head of the department – Parmanov Abulqosim 

2. The department of “Computer science and programming”, head of the department – Kayumov Oybek

3. The department of “Biotechnology”, head of the department – Uralov Abdummannon 

4. The department of “Economy”, head of the department – Mukhtorov Botir
