ABOUT THE FACULTY:

The Faculty of Light Industry was founded in 1956. Today, the faculty is called the Faculty of Modern Industry and Design (YeST D F). 833 students are studying at the faculty. 97 professors and teachers, 13 doctors of science - professors, 27 doctors of science - associate professors, 25 senior teachers, 32 assistants provide effective educational support to students studying in the department. In front of the team are very national large tools, the main support programs there are the full implementation of the quality exercises of the "Training Program", that is, the improvement of the department's material-technical and information base, the educational process provision of high-quality educational literature and advanced pedagogical technologies, preparation of textbooks, study guides, electronic textbooks for academic lyceums, vocational colleges, and at the same time starting teaching, employment of graduates of the institute is to provide.

ABOUT THE FACULTY:

The Faculty of Textile Engineering (TMF) is the same age as our institute and was founded in 1932. In the 2005-2006 academic year, the "Mechanical Technology" faculty merged with the "Engineering Pedagogy" faculty to become the "Textile Industry Technology" faculty, and from 2024 it became the "Textile Engineering" faculty. In different years, associate professors I.I. Solovyov, M.A. Polikovsky, F.K. Potapov, L.Y. Efros, S.S. Ibragimov, professor Sh.R. Marasulov, associate professor I.T. Abdurakhimova, Academician H.H. Usmonkhojayev, professor M.M. Mukhamedov, professor M.M. Muqimov, associate professor T.B. Muradov, Ph.D., Professor A.E. Gulamov was in charge. Departments of "Textile Fabric Technology", "Silk and Spinning Technology", "Materials Science and Standardization", "Chemical and Printing Engineering" departments operate within the faculty.

91 professors and teachers of the faculty, including 18 doctors of science, 55 candidates of science, 6 senior teachers and 12 assistants, are providing effective education to the students of the institute. The scientific potential of the faculty is 80%. The faculty joined the International Textile Academy (1995); Became a member of the International Silk Association (1997). Many universities abroad, in particular, Manchester University of Great Britain, Sichuan Institute of Light Industry and Paper Technology of China, Textile Department of Ghent University (Belgium), Piraeus Institute of Technology (Greece), Ivanovo State Textile University (Russia), Moscow Textile University (Russia) ), cooperation with Kostroma University of Technology (Russia), Azerbaijan Institute of Technology is well established. The faculty received a grant from the TASIS-TEMPUS program under the project "Modernization of textile higher education in the market economy" - "Modern-texted". According to him, a number of professors and students of the faculty returned from an exchange of experience at Ghent University in Belgium and Piraeus Institute of Technology in Greece. In 2001, the faculty took a proud 2nd place in the competition held among more than 900 faculties of higher education institutions in the Republic.

ABOUT THE FACULTY:

The Faculty of Cotton Processing was founded in 1932. Currently, the faculty is called the Faculty of Industrial Technologies and Mechanics (STMF). Departments of "Preliminary processing of fibrous materials", "Mechanical engineering", "Labor protection and ecology", "Automation and software engineering" are operating within the faculty. More than 2,000 students study at the faculty. 87 professors and teachers of the faculty, including 16 doctors of science - professors, 41 candidates of sciences - associate professors, 19 senior teachers, 11 assistants provide effective education and training to them.

The team has set big goals, full implementation of the tasks of the second-quality stage of the "National Personnel Training Program", that is, strengthening the material and technical and information base of the faculty's departments, making the educational process high-quality. providing educational literature and advanced pedagogical technologies, creating textbooks, study guides for academic lyceums, vocational colleges, preparing electronic textbooks, as well as increasing the effectiveness of teaching, training graduate students of the institute basic tasks such as employment are defined.

Qualified professors and teachers of these departments, in addition to teaching their knowledge and experience to students, conduct scientific research in cooperation with prestigious higher education institutions of Latvia, Italy, Russia, South Korea and other Asian and European institutions in order to enrich their knowledge. is going
