Painting
About the Program
The "Painting" program trains professional artists, illustrators, and art practitioners who are fluent in both classical and contemporary visual art techniques. The curriculum covers an in-depth study of academic drawing, easel painting, composition, color theory, and art history. Students develop their unique signature style by working in the university's specially equipped creative studios and regularly participating in plein-air painting sessions.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates are in high demand in the creative industries, publishing, and the cultural sector. Available roles include fine artist/painter, book and digital illustrator, concept artist for film and gaming industries, art gallery curator, restorer, and visual arts teacher.
Language of Instruction
After admission, students can choose their preferred language of instruction: English, Russian, or Uzbek.
International Opportunities
The program actively integrates students into the global art scene. This includes participation in international exhibitions, art symposia, and biennales, as well as student mobility programs at specialized foreign art academies. Creative internships at renowned galleries and international art studios are also organized.
Admission Requirements
Entrance exams are conducted in the format of creative exams (drawing, painting, composition) or in the form of an interview.
