         Course Objective

To develop in students a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the state's economic policy and to build practical skills related to its specific characteristics, forms, methods, and tools.

 

Course Task

The course aims to analyze various concepts of state economic policy and study the experiences of developed countries; to examine the formation and development of economic policy in Uzbekistan and the role of the state as a key reformer; to analyze the goals, objectives, directions, sectors, forms, methods, and tools of state economic policy implementation; and to teach students how to harmonize market and state mechanisms within economic policy frameworks.

 

Learning Outcomes

In terms of knowledge:

 

Students will understand the general foundations, stages, causes, and consequences of socio-economic development; the features of the modern market economy; and the principles of economic laws and categories.

 

Students will know and apply methods for analyzing economic phenomena and processes; understand economic laws and scientific concepts (categories); and develop skills for proposing solutions to economic problems.

 

Students will comprehend the structure of the discipline, including decision-making in entrepreneurship, designing and understanding economic policy, and studying modern economic activities as a whole.

 

In terms of skills:

 

Students will gain a general understanding of evolving economic systems, their causes, and consequences.

 

They will develop independent opinions and viewpoints on modern economies and their effects.

 

They will be able to comprehend and analyze macroeconomic dimensions of the national economy, such as economic development, growth, national wealth, consumption, savings and investment, balanced and proportional development, economic cycles, labor force, employment and unemployment, the financial system and fiscal policy, monetary system and banking, the economic role of the state, household income, and social policy.
