A Branch of Liaoning Normal University to be Established in Khiva: UrSU Delegation Visited China

A branch of the Liaoning Normal University (PRC) is planned to be established in the city of Khiva for the 2026–2027 academic year. In line with this, a delegation from Urgench State University, led by Rector Feruza Madrakhimova, visited Dalian, China, on June 8–9 to discuss the necessary arrangements.
During the visit, meetings were held with the university’s leadership to review the branch's infrastructure, facilities, and the implementation of the tripartite agreement between the Ministry of Higher Education of Uzbekistan, Liaoning Normal University, and UrSU. Additionally, a symposium on China-Uzbekistan humanitarian exchange and regional civilizations was held, during which Rector Madrakhimova delivered a speech. At the conclusion of the event, she was honored with the title of "Honorary Professor" of Liaoning Normal University in recognition of her efforts to strengthen academic ties.
