UrSU Rector Held Online Meeting from Spain with XCMG and Xuzhou University Representatives
While on a visit to Spain, UrSU Rector discussed the details of the new "2+1+1" joint engineering program with Chinese partners via an online meeting.
During her official visit to Spain, the Rector of Urgench State University, Feruza Madrakhimova, held an online meeting from Barcelona International Airport with the leadership of China’s renowned XCMG Group and Xuzhou University of Technology. The discussion focused on the practical steps for establishing the "2+1+1" joint education program in engineering and mechanical engineering, set to commence in the 2026-2027 academic year.
The program prioritizes dual education, combining academic learning with practical industrial training. During the meeting, the parties outlined the agenda for the upcoming V Tashkent International Investment Forum, where a tripartite agreement is scheduled to be signed on June 19 at the Ministry of Higher Education. Furthermore, the Chinese delegation is expected to pay an official visit to Urgench State University on June 20.
