KAZAKH-RUSSIAN INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY MEETING ON STRATEGIC COOPERATION WITH REPRESENTATIVES OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS
SUBJECT: “ACADEMIC MOBILITY – INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION”
On May 2, 2023, the Department of International Cooperation and Accreditation of Kazakh-Russian International University held a ZOOM platform meeting on strategic cooperation with partner universities on the topic “Academic mobility – internationalization of higher education”.
The meeting was attended by scientists, students, employees of foreign and partner universities, including:
- Nukus Mining Institute under Navoi State Mining and Technology University (Nukus, Republic of Karakalpakstan);
- Plekhanov Russian University of Economics (Moscow, Russian Federation);
- Kyrgyz-Kazakh University (Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic);
- Namseoul University (South Korea);
- Orenburg State University (Orenburg, Russian Federation);
- Alikhan Bokeykhan University (Semey);
- Kyzilorda University named after Korqit Ota (Kyzilorda);
- Sherkhan Murtaz International Taraz Innovation Institute (Taraz) and others.
As a result of the meeting, the following goals were achieved and the following tasks were performed:
- Development of reliable relations with partner universities;
- Effective exchange of information;
- Increase students’ awareness of academic mobility in universities;
- To increase students’ interest in the integration of Kazakhstan and foreign education;
- The direction of further development of cooperation in the field of science and education: inviting scientists to give guest lectures;
- Expanding opportunities to solve problems in joint work;
- Increasing the reputation of scientific and pedagogical activity in the republic.
- A decision was made to establish a scientific-practical connection of the Kazakh-Russian International University with partner higher educational institutions through the development of scientific potential and professional training of personnel, updating of educational programs, joint research and publishing in scientific journals.
Kazakh-Russian International University expressed its gratitude to the participants of the telebridge meeting for their active participation and valuable suggestions.
