В целях совершенствования системы выявления и развития у обучающихся творческих способностей и интереса к научно-исследовательской деятельности, привлечение педагогов к работе с высокомотивированными детьми 12 и 26 апреля 2025 года впервые в Филиале Российского государственного университета нефти и газа (национального исследовательского университета) имени И.М. Губкина в городе Ташкенте проходит Губкинская предметная Олимпиада по предметам «Русский язык» и «Математика» среди учащихся 10–11 классов общеобразовательных школ, лицеев и колледжей. Начиная с 2025 года Филиалом, с выездом в Республику Каракалпакстан, Бухарскую, Навоийскую, Кашкадарьинскую, Ташкентскую и Хорезмскую области, а также общеобразовательные школы и лицеи города Ташкента, проведена масштабная работа по укреплению связей и дальнейшего сотрудничества в области развития образования в системе «школа-ВУЗ», по профессиональной ориентации выпускников общеобразовательных школ и разъяснению целей и задач проводимой Филиалом Губкинской предметной Олимпиады 2025. In 2020, Samarkand State Medical Institute(SGMI) organized and successfully hosted the International Student Medical Olympiad. This event was an important event in the life of medical students and brought together participants from different countries. The Olympiad is dedicated to the 1100th anniversary of Abu Ali ibn Sina, a great scholar also known as Avicenna. It was held with the aim of improving the quality of medical education, developing professional skills, as well as sharing experience and knowledge among medical students around the world. More than 40 countries participated in the Olympics, including teams from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Ukraine, Central Asian countries and many others. Participants competed in a variety of disciplines including surgery, therapy, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, anesthesiology, resuscitation, psychiatry, and Infectious Diseases. The solemn opening of the Olympics took place at the Samarkand State Medical Institute. The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, embassies of different countries, as well as prominent scientists and teachers of medical universities. During the Olympics, students took an active part in theoretical and practical assignments.
