University Delegation Conducts Scientific Visit to Beijing
A delegation from Urgench State University visited Beijing from August 30 to September 4, participating in the Second China–Uzbekistan Conference on Complex Analysis and discussing further opportunities for scientific cooperation with Peking University.
From August 30 to September 4 of this year, a delegation from Urgench State University, led by A. Atamuratov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation, paid a scientific visit to Beijing, the People’s Republic of China.
During the visit, members of the delegation participated in the Second China–Uzbekistan Conference on Complex Analysis, held at the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research under Peking University.
The conference was also attended by R. Sharipov, Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Urgench State University, as well as J. Ashirov and S. Bekchanov, lecturers at the Department of Mathematical Analysis. They attended scientific presentations by leading specialists in the field and presented the results of their own research to the international scientific community.
The Uzbek delegation also held an official meeting with Fang Fang, Vice President of Peking University. The meeting focused on further developing the activities of the Beijing–Urgench International Center for Mathematical Research established at Urgench State University, identifying prospective areas of cooperation, and implementing joint scientific projects.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to organize the next international conference in Urgench in 2027. The participants also exchanged views on future visits by the leadership of the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research to Urgench.
