ABOUT EDUCATION PROGRAM

Program Name: 60530200 – Geography

Program Description:

Through this educational program, you will gain the knowledge and skills in the field of Geography, one of the leading disciplines in modern science and natural studies. The program covers a wide range of scientific research and pedagogical activities related to the study of the Earth.

Over the course of 4 years, you will acquire both theoretical and practical competencies in the "60530200 – Geography" program. You will master the most up-to-date and essential subjects. Study with us and confidently move toward achieving your goals.

As part of this program, over 8 semesters (4 years), you will be required to complete a total of 240 credits. Specifically:

• Total classroom hours: 6,420 hours
• Qualification internship: 360 hours
• Bachelor’s thesis (Graduation project): 420 hours

Credit Distribution for the Educational Program:

• 1 credit equals 30 academic hours.
• To ensure the integration of theoretical and practical training, qualification internships are conducted in organizations and enterprises.
• Student assessment is carried out based on regulations developed in accordance with the credit system.

• Organizations under the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources;
• Institutions focused on the development of recreation and tourism;
• Research institutes, enterprises, and organizations in the fields of geographic information systems (GIS), geospatial analysis, and cartography;
• Institutions involved in the comprehensive analysis and development of territories, and in the planning and design of projects for natural resource use;
• Manufacturing and service enterprises of various ownership types.
