The joy of understanding Navoi
At the event organized by the Faculty of Uzbek and Russian Philology on the occasion of the 584th anniversary of Alisher Navoi's birth, the "Amiriy" library was crowded with professors, writers, poets, and students.
Speakers at the event emphasized that the creative legacy of the outstanding writer Alisher Navoi, who made a significant contribution to the development of Uzbek literature and culture, plays an important role in educating the younger generation in the spirit of love and devotion to the homeland, as well as national and universal values. His life and rich cultural heritage were discussed in detail.
It was noted that Navoi’s works have become an invaluable spiritual heritage of the world's nations, and samples of his ghazals and rubai were recited.
The event dedicated to this occasion continued with an educational program prepared by students. Stage performances based on the epic "Khamsa" were presented.
