About the programme
This master's program is designed to prepare highly qualified academic, research, and professional specialists in the fields of comparative linguistics and translation studies, with a particular focus on the Urdu language. Students gain in-depth knowledge of the phonetic, lexical, grammatical, and semantic features of Urdu through comparative analysis with other languages. They also study the linguistic foundations of translation, contemporary translation theories, and modern approaches to intercultural communication. Throughout the program, students develop practical skills in corpus linguistics, terminology management, academic writing, and research methodology. By integrating modern translation technologies and artificial intelligence-based tools, the curriculum equips graduates with internationally recognized academic and professional competencies.
