ABOUT THE FACULTY
The Faculty of Economics was founded in 1954. Over the past period, the faculty has been operating under the names of Engineer, Economist and Chemical Technology, Industry Management, Automation and Management, and Printing Technologies. Currently, this faculty is called the Faculty of Economics. The faculty includes "Economics and Management", "Accounting and Marketing", "Uzbek and Foreign Languages" and "Social Sciences and Physical Culture" departments. To date, more than 2,800 students are studying at the faculty in full-time and part-time forms of education, as well as master's degrees. 112 professors-teachers, including 11 doctors of science-professors, 26 candidates of sciences-associate professors, 23 senior teachers, 52 assistants provide effective education to students studying at the faculty. The team faces huge tasks, the main of which is the full implementation of the tasks of the second-quality stage of the "National Personnel Training Program", that is, strengthening the material-technical and information base of the faculty's departments, making the educational process high-quality providing educational literature and advanced pedagogical technologies, creating textbooks, study guides for academic lyceums, vocational colleges, preparing electronic textbooks and at the same time improving teaching efficiency, to provide employment to the graduates of the institute.
