About the programme

The Accounting program belongs to the field of Business and Management and encompasses a broad range of economic, organizational, and financial issues related to ensuring the liquidity and solvency of organizations registered in the Republic of Uzbekistan. It also addresses the determination of socio-economic development prospects and solutions for complex financial management challenges.
Accounting is regarded as one of the most prestigious areas of economics, and specialists in this field have been trained in Uzbekistan for many years.

Program Objective
The program aims to equip students with fundamental professional knowledge, practical skills, and competencies necessary for mastering specialized disciplines. It seeks to develop an understanding of the key achievements, current challenges, and development prospects within professional practice areas aligned with the field of study.

Expected Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the four-year program, graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics.
Graduates may continue their studies in master’s programs across approximately fifty different specializations.

Undergraduate Curriculum:
In the first year, students focus primarily on general professional subjects such as Applied Mathematics, Information and Communication Technologies and Systems in Economics, Foreign Language, Religious Studies, Academic Skills, and Professional Competence.
In the second through fourth years, students study core and elective courses in their major, including Philosophy, Statistics, Microeconomics, Business Law, Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Economic Analysis, Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting.
Students also undertake professional internships designed to connect theoretical knowledge with practical application.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, graduates may pursue master’s studies in any specialization within the education area 400000 – Business, Management, and Law or 410000 – Business and Management, for a duration of no less than two years.
They may also conduct independent academic research in accordance with established procedures.
