About the programme
This master's program is designed to provide an advanced understanding of the ethnic composition, cultures, traditions, and social development of peoples through contemporary anthropological approaches. Students gain comprehensive knowledge of ethnology, cultural anthropology, ethnographic research methods, migration studies, and intercultural communication. The curriculum combines theoretical foundations with practical fieldwork, including ethnographic observation, interviews, qualitative and quantitative research methods, and modern approaches to social and cultural analysis. Students participate in research projects focusing on interethnic relations, cultural heritage preservation, and contemporary social transformations. The program prepares graduates with strong analytical and research competencies for academic, governmental, and international careers. Graduates are well qualified for employment at research institutes, museums, government agencies, cultural heritage institutions, and international organizations.
