Foundation Programme

The BMU Foundation Programme is a one-year preparatory programme designed to equip students with the academic knowledge, English language proficiency, and study skills required for success in higher education.

Developed in partnership with the University of Reading (UK), the programme follows internationally recognised academic standards and is delivered entirely in English by experienced international and local faculty. Students build a strong foundation in critical thinking, academic writing, research, and subject-specific knowledge, preparing them for undergraduate study in an English-speaking university environment.

Upon successful completion, students receive a Foundation Certificate jointly awarded by British Management University and the University of Reading. The qualification enables graduates to progress to bachelor's degree programmes at BMU and is recognised by a range of universities in the UK and internationally, providing flexible pathways for further study.

The programme benefits from an ongoing academic partnership with the University of Reading, including regular quality assurance, curriculum review, and academic collaboration to ensure that teaching and learning continue to meet British higher education standards.
