60530400-Geographical education - higher education in the field of natural sciences, teaching subjects related to the field of education in general secondary, secondary specialized, vocational educational institutions; covers a number of professional areas related to the issues under consideration of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and networks of research institutes, government bodies, state and non-state institutions of general secondary, secondary specialized vocational education.

 

60530400–Bachelor's degree in geography is carried out in full-time, evening and correspondence forms of study. The standard duration of a full-time bachelor's degree is 4 years. Training in the form of training is organized on the basis of a credit-module system. 1 credit is equal to 30 academic hours. Transfer from course to course is determined by GPA at the end of each academic year. At the end of the educational program, final state certification tests are conducted.

Qualification practice begins from the 1st stage and is carried out in field training camps, cities of the region and basic organizations and enterprises. After successful completion of the 4th year of study, the specialty of geographer-teacher is assigned.

 

Objects of professional activity of bachelors in geographical education:

- Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and industry research institutes;

- general education, secondary, special, vocational educational institutions;

- all objects of technical, agricultural and water production in the field of socio-economic activities;

- organizations involved in environmental protection;

- organizations related to the assessment of natural resources and processes of their use;

- offices of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources;

- offices and organizations focused on the development of recreation and tourism;

- manufacturing enterprises;

- control and monitoring of programs for the sustainable development of local, regional, national and global, natural and anthropogenic, natural-demographic-economic, environmental and social production systems, environmental problems, etc.

Practical classes in subjects related to the specialty included in the curriculum are conducted in higher educational institutions, as well as in basic organizations and enterprises.
