History (by direction and type of activity)

History (master's degree) is a master's degree specialty aimed at training specialists with in-depth scientific knowledge in current areas of history, who are able to analyze historical processes and conduct scientific and pedagogical activities.

In this specialty, master's students study the history of Uzbekistan, world history, historiography, source studies, historical research methodology, archival studies, and modern historical processes in depth. During the educational process, skills in conducting scientific research, analyzing historical sources, and taking a scientific approach to historical events are developed.

Theoretical knowledge is combined with scientific and practical research, and master's students are formed with the competencies to conduct independent research, prepare scientific articles, and conduct pedagogical activities in higher educational institutions.

Graduates can work in higher educational institutions, research institutes, museums, archives, state administration bodies, and organizations engaged in the study and preservation of historical heritage.
