About the programme
The "Linguistics (English)" program (Master's degree) is designed to develop students' highly qualified knowledge, skills, and competencies necessary for research and practical work in the English language system, linguistic theory, and applied linguistics.
Throughout the program, master's students gain in-depth knowledge of modern linguistic theories, cognitive and corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and computational linguistics, as well as acquire practical skills in analyzing English-language materials, conducting linguistic research, and presenting scholarly findings.
The educational process employs modern teaching methods, scholarly seminars, practical research, and approaches based on international experience. Upon completion of the program, master's students are required to defend a research thesis (dissertation).
Graduates have the opportunity to work in higher education institutions as English language instructors and researchers, in research institutes as linguistic specialists, as well as in translation agencies and international organizations as linguistics specialists.
