About the programme
Linguistics: English (Master's degree) is a master's degree program aimed at in-depth study of the theoretical and practical aspects of the English language, conducting scientific research in the field of linguistics, and training specialists who can apply modern linguistic approaches.
In this specialty, master's students study modern linguistics, comparative linguistics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, cognitive linguistics, text linguistics, translation studies, and scientific research methodology in depth. During the training process, skills are formed to conduct scientific research on the structure, development, and use of the English language.
Theoretical knowledge is combined with scientific and practical research, and master's students develop competencies in writing scientific articles, conducting linguistic analyses, developing translation activities, and conducting pedagogical activities in higher education institutions.
Graduates can work in higher education institutions, research institutes, translation centers, international organizations, publishing houses, and in the fields of linguistics and communication.
