70230101 – Linguistics: the Russian language specialization includes teaching the Russian language and literature in higher education institutions, advanced training and retraining centers, as well as in general secondary, secondary specialized and vocational education institutions; conducting scientific research in institutions of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, sectoral research institutes and research centers; professional activity in production and service enterprises of various ownership forms and in public administration bodies, covering a комплекс of specialized tasks. Objects of professional activity include the Russian language; language structure and language/speech units; patterns of development of the Russian language; the linguistic situation in Uzbekistan; traditional and modern linguistics; works related to general philology and social sciences; official documents, literary and linguistic sources; live speech and mass media materials. Types of professional activity comprise research, organizational and managerial work, scientific-pedagogical and pedagogical activity in higher, general secondary, secondary specialized and vocational education systems, as well as publishing and editorial work.
