About the programme
Through this academic program, you will acquire comprehensive knowledge and professional competencies in Philology and Language Teaching (Chinese Language). This field of study occupies an important place in the modern education system and is designed to prepare highly qualified specialists who possess advanced proficiency in Oriental languages and strong pedagogical expertise. In today’s globalized world, Chinese is one of the most important and highly demanded foreign languages, offering excellent academic and career opportunities.
During the four-year bachelor's program, you will study the theoretical and practical foundations of the Chinese language, linguistics, literary studies, translation theory, and contemporary language teaching methodologies. In addition, through teaching internships, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in real educational settings, strengthen your professional competencies, and gain valuable practical teaching experience.
During the 8 semesters (4 years) of the program, students are required to complete a total of 240 ECTS credits, including:
- Total classroom instruction: 2,520 hours
- Professional and teaching internship: 900 hours
- Bachelor’s thesis (graduation project): 420 hours
