About the programme
Molecular physics is a field of physics that studies the structure of matter and its properties based on the fact that this matter is made up of particles (molecules, atoms, ions), that these particles are always in a state of chaotic motion and that there are forces of interaction between them. Since any substance consists of a large number of particles of the same type, statistical and thermodynamic methods are used to solve problems of molecular physics. • The thermodynamic method is the method of studying the physical properties of the system with the help of physical quantities characterizing the thermodynamic point of view related to the transfer of energy from one type to another and the performance of work at the expense of energy.
