The curriculum covers entomology, phytopathology, agricultural toxicology, quarantine regulations, and the introduction of innovative, environmentally sound, and resource-efficient protection technologies, together with applied scientific research in the field.

Graduates are prepared to work in plant-protection and quarantine services, farms and agro-clusters of various forms of ownership, the institutions of the Ministry of Agriculture, scientific-research institutes of the Academy of Sciences and the sector, and educational institutions, as well as to pursue scientific-pedagogical activity in higher, secondary specialized, and vocational education after appropriate pedagogical retraining.
