60110400 — Primary Education: Types of Professional Activities of Graduates

Graduates of the 60110400 — Primary Education program may carry out the following types of professional activities:

teach such subjects as “Mother Tongue and Reading Literacy”, “Reading”, “Mathematics”, “Technology”, as well as subjects included in geography, such as “Natural Science”, “Natural Sciences”, and “Upbringing” in primary classes of general secondary schools; teach professional subjects in secondary specialized and vocational education institutions in accordance with the established procedure;

work as teachers or organizers in general secondary schools, specialized schools, vocational colleges, and extracurricular institutions;

work as classroom supervisors, laboratory assistants, and in equivalent positions within the education system;

work as methodologists in ministries, their sectoral departments, and institutions that provide education in the relevant fields;

work as junior researchers in scientific research organizations;

work in local self-government bodies, as well as in local centers of spirituality and enlightenment;

engage in the pedagogy and technology of primary education, including the development and practical implementation of didactic teaching tools.

Graduates of the Primary Education program may continue their studies in master’s degree specialties determined by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan for a period of not less than two years, as well as continue their education in postgraduate education or in a second specialty. They may also conduct scientific research independently in accordance with the established procedure.
