Andijan Branch of Varsovia University of Business and Applied Sciences

VARSOVIA – a new standard of higher education in Uzbekistan. We are the official branch of the "VARSOVIA" University of Business and Applied Sciences, one of the largest universities in Poland, headquartered in Warsaw and serving more than 20,000 students worldwide.

Previously, our university had a different name – the Andijan branch of the Collegium Humanum – Warsaw Management University.

Today we are the VARSOVIA UNIVERSITY OF BUSINESS AND APPLIED SCIENCES. Education at the Andijan branch fully complies with European standards. Graduates receive a European diploma with the ECTS system, which is recognized within the European Union and internationally.

Projects & Startup Ecosystem

To involve students in scientific and entrepreneurial activities, major international and local projects have been launched:

• Erasmus+ and International Grants: The “UzMove” project, aimed at enhancing student mobility and developed jointly with partners, scored high points and was accepted as a reserve. Under the EU-funded “BOOST” project, successful training sessions on youth entrepreneurship development were conducted.

• International Organizations: Solid connections have been established with American Councils, British Council, KOICA, JICA, TIKA, and GIZ.

• Startups and Internships: Students successfully participate with their innovative startup projects in competitions held in cooperation with the “Yuksalish” Nationwide Movement, Youth Innovation Center, IT Park, and Technoparks.

Academic Exchange & Mobility (Exchange & Work/Travel)

Extensive opportunities are provided for students and faculty to gain international experience:

• Student Exchange: Malaysia's UniKL university allocates up to 3 quotas annually for Varsovia students. An internal mobility program to all European branches of the university is also available.

• Work & Travel and Internships: To travel around Europe and gain work experience during summer vacations, Work&Travel programs to Germany, Poland, and Turkey have been launched (more than 20 students have participated to date).

• Staff Internships: A system for regular professional development of professors and staff at the main campus in Warsaw is actively running (5 employees are scheduled to go this year).

Language Courses: English & Russian Proficiency

Overview: Varsovia University offers structured language courses in both English and Russian, designed to build functional fluency in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The curriculum balances core grammar with practical communication strategies to help learners succeed in everyday and professional environments.

Key Learning Objectives:

• Comprehend standard spoken English/Russian in social and professional contexts.

• Construct grammatically correct sentences for confident communication.

• Read and analyze foundational texts, business correspondence, and articles.

• Master cultural etiquette and regional idiomatic expressions.

Structure & Assessment: Progress is tracked through weekly practical assignments, periodic vocabulary quizzes, and a final oral presentation. Participants receive a certificate of completion upon meeting requirements.
