About the university
Navoi Innovation University (NIU) is a non-governmental higher education institution established in the Republic of Uzbekistan with the aim of training competitive specialists based on modern knowledge and innovative approaches. The university provides higher education services under a license issued by the State Inspectorate for Supervision of Quality in Education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Diplomas awarded to the university’s graduates are recognized by the state in accordance with the current legislation.
The university’s main campus is located at 39 Tashkent Street, Karmana District, Navoi Region. Currently, the university operates campuses in the Navoi and Surkhandarya regions. More than 10,000 students are enrolled at the university, over 160 professors and lecturers are employed, and specialists are trained in more than 21 undergraduate and graduate academic programs.
Since its establishment, the university has prepared and directed more than 1,000 graduates to the labor market, the majority of whom are actively employed in the fields of education, industry, services, information technology, and entrepreneurship.
For international students
The university places special emphasis on creating a modern and comfortable learning environment for its students. To this end, it provides access to a modern library, electronic learning resources, sports and wellness facilities, medical services, spiritual and educational centers, and student accommodation. A dedicated department has been established to effectively coordinate student housing services.
Through the HEMIS information system, students can manage their academic processes, access the electronic library, utilize distance learning tools, and monitor their academic performance.
In addition, international students are offered accommodation in modern, fully equipped dormitories and hostels with all necessary amenities. The university provides favorable conditions for living and studying and offers practical assistance with visa-related procedures.
International partnerships
Navoi Innovation University places special emphasis on the development of international cooperation as one of its key strategic priorities. The university has established productive partnerships with reputable higher education institutions in the United Kingdom, Germany, Türkiye, Latvia, South Korea, India, and a number of other countries.
To date, the university has developed cooperation agreements with more than 30 foreign higher education institutions. These partnerships provide students and academic staff with valuable opportunities for academic exchange programs, international internships, joint educational initiatives, and participation in international research and educational projects.
The university’s international engagement contributes to the integration of students into the global educational environment, enhances their professional and intercultural competencies, and enables them to benefit from international best practices and experience.
Language courses
The educational process at the university is primarily conducted in the Uzbek language in order to provide students with a comfortable and effective learning environment. Academic instruction is delivered through modern pedagogical approaches, advanced educational technologies, and practice-oriented teaching methods.
The university places significant emphasis on the development of an international academic environment and the attraction of international students. Therefore, following the admission of international students, academic programs are also planned to be offered in English. This initiative will create a supportive learning environment for students from different countries, facilitate the implementation of international educational standards, and promote intercultural communication and cooperation.
This approach reflects the university’s commitment to strengthening its international reputation, expanding global partnerships, and equipping students with the knowledge and competencies required to succeed in the international labor market.
Faculties
The Department of Social Sciences and Humanities is one of the university’s leading academic and research divisions, making a significant contribution to improving the quality of education, advancing research activities, and preparing highly qualified specialists equipped with modern knowledge and professional competencies.
Currently, the department employs 38 academic staff members. Among them are 3 Doctors of Science (DSc) and 16 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), who are highly qualified experts in their respective fields. The scientific capacity of the department’s academic staff stands at 50 percent.
The department actively integrates modern pedagogical technologies and innovative approaches into the educational process. Faculty members regularly participate in national and international scientific conferences, seminars, and research projects, continuously enhancing their academic and professional expertise.
The department’s existing scientific potential serves as an important foundation not only for ensuring high-quality education but also for advancing research activities, supporting young scholars, and strengthening the integration of science and education.
The Department of Economics and Information Technologies is one of the leading structural units of the university, playing an important role in the development of modern academic and scientific directions. The department is engaged in training specialists with strong theoretical and practical knowledge in economics and information technologies, as well as in advancing research activities.
Currently, the department employs 24 academic staff members. Among them are 1 Doctor of Science (DSc) and 9 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), who are highly qualified experts in their fields. The overall scientific potential of the department’s academic staff is 50 percent.
The department places special emphasis on integrating modern pedagogical technologies into the educational process, organizing classes based on innovative approaches, and developing students’ practical skills. Faculty members actively participate in national and international scientific conferences, seminars, and various research projects, continuously enhancing their scientific capacity.

The Department of Exact, Technical and Natural Sciences is one of the leading structural units of the university, playing an important role within its academic and scientific system. The department is dedicated to training highly qualified specialists with strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of exact sciences, engineering and technical disciplines, as well as natural sciences.
Currently, the department has 30 academic staff members. Among them are 1 Doctor of Science (DSc) and 12 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), who are experienced and highly qualified professionals. The overall scientific potential of the department’s academic staff is 50 percent.
The department places strong emphasis on the wide implementation of modern pedagogical technologies, the organization of classes based on innovative approaches, and the development of students’ scientific and practical competencies. Faculty members actively participate in national and international scientific conferences, seminars, and research projects, continuously improving their academic and professional capacity.

The Department of Philology and Language Teaching is one of the leading academic and research units of the university, specializing in the training of highly qualified specialists in linguistics, philology, and modern language teaching methodology. The department is dedicated to organizing the educational process based on modern scientific approaches, developing language teaching methodologies, and providing students with in-depth linguistic knowledge.
Currently, the department employs 38 academic staff members. Among them are 4 Doctors of Science (DSc) and 9 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD), who are highly qualified specialists in their fields. The overall scientific potential of the department’s academic staff is 50 percent.
The department places special emphasis on the implementation of innovative pedagogical technologies, the application of modern foreign language teaching methods, and the development of students’ linguistic and communicative competencies. Faculty members actively participate in national and international scientific conferences, seminars, and research projects, continuously improving their academic and professional capacity.
