1. Name of the University

- STARS International University (STARS) is the most internationally accredited university in Uzbekistan, officially registered and operating under the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

- STARS is recognized by the government bodies of Great Britain and the USA, and annually undergoes an international quality audit from the British Standards Institution (Great Britain, founded in 1901) and the American National Accreditation Board (USA, founded in 1899), confirming compliance with the international quality standard ISO 9001:2015.

- The University is a full member of the SAP University Alliance, along with the world's leading universities. Also, STARS is a member of the international University Council College Board (USA) and a strategic partner of the world's largest organization for testing and assessing education - ETS (USA).

- The Bachelor's degree in Finance and Audit is officially recognized by the National Agency ECCTIS (UK ENIC) under the UK Department of Education and is equivalent to a diploma from British universities.

- STARS is an honorary member of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), along with NASA, SpaceX, Roscosmos and other leading space agencies in the world.

Visa Procedure

Foreign nationals and stateless persons must submit the following documents to the diplomatic missions and consular offices of the Republic of Uzbekistan abroad to obtain a visa:

• Passport or stateless person’s ID (valid for at least 3 months beyond the duration of the visa);
• Visa application form completed in 2 copies;
• 2 color photos (passport size – 35x45mm).

Citizens of countries where Uzbekistan has no diplomatic or consular representation may obtain a visa upon arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Visa Support Section at Tashkent International Airport. The inviting individual or organization in Uzbekistan must first apply to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, obtain official confirmation (stamp) from the Visa Support Section of the Consular-Legal Department, and send it to the invitee. This confirmation must be presented when purchasing flight tickets and at passport control. Based on this, a visa is issued at Tashkent Airport.

STD Visa
Student visa for temporary study (academic exchange)

Issued for up to 1 year to foreign students temporarily studying at Uzbek higher education institutions through inter-university exchanges or cooperation programs. Arranged upon request of Uzbek institutions, ministries, and organizations.

A-1 Visa
Student visa for full-time education

Issued for up to 1 year to international students enrolled in educational institutions in Uzbekistan. Arranged upon request of relevant educational institutions, ministries, and government agencies.

STARS International University accepts foreign students through a clear and streamlined process designed to ensure academic readiness.

1. Application Submission

Applicants must submit the following:

• Completed application form
• Passport copy
• High school certificate or diploma (Grade 11 or equivalent)
• Academic transcript
• English proficiency certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, SAT – optional but recommended)
• Passport-sized photo (digital)

2. Internal Assessment

Students without international test scores must pass STARS University’s internal English and Math tests.

3. Interview & Admission

After reviewing documents and test results, selected applicants may be invited for an online interview. Successful candidates will receive an Official Admission Letter.

There are currently no specific scholarships available for international students, but applicants may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
