A meeting was held between the rector and talented students
In order to comprehensively support talented students studying at Samarkand State Medical University, provide them with broad opportunities and conveniences, further improve the quality of education and conditions at the university, and facilitate direct communication with students, regular meetings with the university rector are held.
In particular, on February 5, 2026, the university rector, Professor Jasur Rizayev, held an open dialogue and an award ceremony with talented and knowledge-seeking students who serve as role models for their peers.
During the event, an open discussion was organized, where students’ opinions, suggestions, and issues were heard. Students who stand out among their peers due to their talent, activity, and curiosity, and who achieve excellent grades in all subjects, were awarded the “Rector’s Scholarship.” In addition, students who achieved prize-winning positions in republican and international competitions and subject olympiads, as well as holders of prestigious state scholarships, were presented with diplomas and certificates.
During the meeting, the university rector, Professor Jasur Rizayev, had a sincere conversation with the students and wished them success in their academic and future professional careers.
