A Meeting with the Delegation of the International Organization “VSO” Was Held at JSPU
An important meeting with the delegation of the international organization VSO and a representative of USAID was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss the expansion of cooperation in the field of education, the implementation of joint projects, and initiatives aimed at enhancing teachers’ professional capacity.
The meeting was attended by Purna Kumar Shrestha, Global Education Specialist of VSO, Zuhra Saliyeva, Regional Representative of VSO, as well as the Rector of the University Maqsudjon Yuldashev and other responsible officials.
The agenda included discussions on attracting international and local VSO volunteers to educational activities in the areas of English language teaching, STEM, special pedagogy, and digital literacy; developing joint professional development programs for primary and general secondary school teachers; and implementing pilot projects on inclusive education in schools affiliated with the university.
As part of the practical session, the guests toured the main building of the university and visited the “Memory of Victims of Repression” museum, where they became familiar with the university’s history, academic potential, and available facilities.
The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening bilateral cooperation and laid a solid foundation for the implementation of several joint projects in the future.
