A New Stage of Cooperation
A research partnership has been established between Xi'an Physical Education University and the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports
🟡On May 22, 2026, a meeting and memorandum of understanding signing ceremony aimed at developing research cooperation between Xi'an Physical Education University and the Uzbek State University of Physical Education and Sports was successfully held. The event covered discussions on establishing a joint research center, implementing scientific projects, and developing international academic exchange programs.
🔶During the meeting, presentations on doctoral programs and faculty and student exchange were also held, and agreements were reached to bring international cooperation between the two universities to a new level.
📑The event was attended by Bayazitov Kamil Faritovich, Head of the Department of Scientific Research, Innovations and Training of Scientific-Pedagogical Staff of UzSUPES, and Burnashev Rashid Akhadovich, Head of the Department of Strategic Development, International Relations and Rankings, as well as Xi'an Physical Education University Vice President Xie Ying, Research Department Director Zhang Xiaoli, Deputy Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office Guo Wei, and relevant department heads.
⚡️During the ceremony, representatives of the two universities held a symbolic opening of the joint research center and signed scientific cooperation agreements. Under the agreements, the parties will cooperate in implementing joint scientific projects, exchanging faculty members, developing academic programs, and establishing scientific resource exchanges.
➡️UzSUPES then held a presentation dedicated to opportunities for study abroad for faculty and students, providing detailed information on academic programs, admission requirements, the credit recognition system, and academic exchange opportunities.
🗣️This meeting and cooperation initiatives serve to further strengthen scientific and academic ties between the two universities. In the future, the parties plan to expand cooperation in the areas of joint research, scientific innovation, sports education, and international academic exchange.
