A Rector's Cup event was held in Arm Wrestling
Sports competitions and tournaments are constantly organized at Samarkand State Medical University in order to develop a healthy lifestyle, to interest students and young people in sports.
An Arm Wrestling event was also held on April 18 of this year as part of the five initiatives among student youth as well as the Student League.
In contests that were fun and uncompromising, the guys tried their strength in different weight classes. According to the results of the qualification, the winners and winners from each weight category and the holder of the absolute “Rector's Cup” were identified and awarded with merit by the rector of SamDTU, professor brave Rizayev.
Speaking at the solemn awards ceremony, the rector of SamDTU, brave Rizayev, congratulated the winners by saying that this tournament was within the framework of the wellness events and that the widespread promotion of any type of sports that is a guarantee of Health will have a positive effect.
