A student of Kokand State University became an Asian champion
At the Asian Championship held in Bangkok, Kokand State University student Khumorabonu Mamajonova raised our country’s flag high. From August 1 to 11, Thailand’s capital Bangkok hosted the Asian Boxing Championship for youth and athletes under 22.
At this prestigious tournament, Kokand State University Physical Education student Khumorabonu Mamajonova, competing in the -57 kg weight category, defeated all her opponents and claimed the gold medal.
It is worth noting that at this championship, Uzbekistan’s national team outperformed all competitors in both divisions, taking first place in the overall standings. Our athletes won a total of 15 gold, 9 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
