An international scientific-practical conference titled “Issues of Training Highly Qualified Pedagogical Personnel in the Context of Modernizing Geography Education” was held.
The event, organized on the initiative of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University at the “Aydarkol Resort” complex in the Arnasay district of Jizzakh region, focused on discussing the current state of geography education, its priority directions, and the role of science in addressing global environmental and socio-economic challenges.
Representatives of scientific institutions from Uzbekistan and abroad participated in the conference, including geographical societies, leading universities, professors, researchers, and students.
The presentations covered актуальные topics such as geoecology, hydrology, sustainable development, climate change, and the role of artificial intelligence in education.
In addition, strategic tasks of geography education and issues of regional development were widely discussed during the plenary session and four sectional meetings.
The conference was particularly significant as it was held in the Aydar-Arnasay lake system area, ensuring a strong integration of theory and practice. As a result, important proposals and recommendations were developed to enhance geography education, expand international scientific cooperation, and train highly qualified pedagogical personnel.
