An international webinar was held between Kokand State University and Abay University
An international webinar on “Using Foreign Experience in Teaching Uzbek and Kazakh Music Education Subjects” was held in collaboration between the Department of Music Theory of Kokand State University and Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University.
The event discussed strengthening scientific and methodological ties between higher education institutions of the two countries, studying advanced foreign experience in music education, and applying it in practice. The webinar was attended by Professor Yerbolat Mustafayev from Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University, experienced professors from Kazakhstan, the team of the Department of Music Theory of Kokand State University, and young researchers.
During the meeting, interesting presentations were made on music pedagogy, national instrumental performance, similarities in the musical heritage of Turkic peoples, and incorporating these into the educational process. The professors also shared their proposals for further collaboration, joint projects, seminars, and masterclasses.
