An interview-based admission process was conducted for technical school graduates
In accordance with the Regulation “On the procedure for admitting technical school graduates to undergraduate programs of higher education institutions based on interviews,” approved by Resolution No. 17 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 11, 2022, Kokand State University organized an interview-based admission process for technical school graduates for the 2025/2026 academic year. A total of 96 applications were received from candidates expressing their intention to continue their studies at the higher education institution.
During the interview process, applicants’ professional knowledge, level of preparation in their chosen specialty, and general outlook were assessed. All necessary measures were taken to ensure that the results were recorded transparently and fairly.
To guarantee legality and impartiality in the admission process, the Anti-Corruption “Compliance Control” Department exercised active oversight. This supervision further enhanced trust in the procedures.
As emphasized, the system of admitting technical school graduates to higher education on the basis of interviews expands opportunities for young people to pursue continuous education and creates conditions for them to become highly qualified specialists in their field.
