Ancient Bukhara left a great impression on students
The trip to the city of Bukhara organized for the students of Kokand State University further strengthened their respect for national values, historical heritage, and the priceless monuments left by our ancestors. During the spiritual and educational journey, students became closely acquainted with the historical sites, architectural monuments, and sacred places of ancient and ever-young Bukhara.
One of the first destinations of the trip was the Ark Fortress, a symbol of Bukhara. The students received detailed information about the centuries-old history of this ancient citadel, as well as the political and cultural life during the Emirate period. The historical explanations provided by the guides further increased the students’ interest. In particular, the museum exhibits inside the fortress, ancient weapons, manuscripts, and parts of the palace left an unforgettable impression on the students.
During the trip, special attention was paid to organizing students’ free time in a meaningful way, broadening their worldview, and strengthening their historical awareness. The students not only visited historical monuments but also had the opportunity to strengthen mutual respect, friendship, and group cohesion.
