At Bukhara State Technical University, issues related to expanding the activities of the Bukhara branch of the Uzbekistan-Japan Center were discussed.

A meeting dedicated to the development of Uzbekistan–Japan cooperation was held at Bukhara State Technical University. The meeting was attended by Alisher Paygamov, co-director of the Uzbekistan–Japan Center; Ulugbek Azamov, national coordinator of the Uzbekistan–Japan Center; Hiroo Iwazaki, co-director of the Uzbekistan–Japan Center; and Heizo Nakamura, JICA representative and center coordinator.

   The guests held talks with the university rector, Sadoqat Siddiqova, during which they discussed prospects for higher education, research activities, academic exchange programs, and the introduction of Japan's advanced experience into the educational process. During the discussion, special attention was paid to expanding bilateral cooperation, implementing joint educational and scientific projects, and creating new opportunities for students and faculty members. At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to continue practical work on developing mutually beneficial cooperation and expanding the activities of the Bukhara branch of the Uzbekistan–Japan Center at the university.
