"Civilizations Harmony and Cooperation Forum" Held at TSUOS
On June 12, 2026, the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies hosted the international "Civilizations Harmony and Cooperation Forum," dedicated to developing scientific and educational cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, strengthening inter-civilizational dialogue, and expanding cultural exchange.
The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by representatives of the education, science, and culture sectors of Uzbekistan and China, experts from international organizations, faculty members, researchers, and students.
During the event, presentations were heard on topics such as cooperation between civilizations within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, the cultural heritage of the Great Silk Road, international educational exchange, the current state and prospects of Sinology, and issues of mutual understanding between the peoples of Uzbekistan and China.
Representatives of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Peking University, Moscow State University, the International Confucian Association, the Cultural Heritage Agency of Uzbekistan, and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies participated in the forum with their reports.
Furthermore, within the framework of the forum, prospects for developing inter-university cooperation, expanding academic exchange programs, and implementing joint scientific projects were discussed.
This prestigious conference served as an important platform for further strengthening strategic partnership relations between Uzbekistan and China, developing intercultural dialogue, and defining new directions for scientific and educational cooperation.
