Cooperation has been established with another prestigious Chinese university.
On February 2 of this year, a delegation from Shantou University, one of the prestigious higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China, visited Samarkand State Medical University.
During the visit, the guests familiarized themselves with the educational process, scientific activities, clinical facilities, and modern conditions created for students and faculty of Samarkand State Medical University.
Also, as part of the visit, an official meeting was organized with the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University, Professor Jasur Rizayev. During the meeting, issues regarding the establishment of cooperation between the two universities in the fields of education, science, and academic exchange were discussed in detail. The parties paid special attention to the prospects of joint scientific research, exchange of professors and students, as well as the implementation of international educational projects.
Following the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, aimed at strengthening mutual cooperation and bringing it to a practical stage.
